My responsibilities include... Math curriculum, interventions including RTI and facilitating discussions with Math Connectors at the elementary level in regards to the implementation of our math curriculum, assessments and resources in an elementary classroom. Social Science Subject Area Committee Co-Chair K-5 Fine Arts Coordination Elementary Gifted Education and 5th Grade Accelerated Math also including working with the middle school and high school directors in regards to the Gifted/Honors Parent/Teacher Advisory Council known as PRIDE I am currently working on... Facilitating the curriculum validation of the DRAFT Social Science Curriculum Leading the elementary differentiation specialists with staff development for general education teachers on differentiation Facilitating grade level math discussions on the implementation of the curriculum, assessments, and resources and this year including the diagnostic element The Director of Curriculum and Instruction (PreK-5 and Green House) reports to Dr. Carmen Acevedo
