Plainfield – The Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Drama Club will stage the musical “Disney’s Moana Jr.,” this month at Plainfield South High School.

The shows are 7 p.m. Saturday, April 29, and 2 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in the high school’s auditorium, 7800 Caton Farm Road.

“Disney’s Moana Jr.,” is adapted from the Disney hit movie “Moana.”

The musical follows Moana and the demigod Maui as they journey across the Pacific Ocean to save Moana's village and discover the truth about her heritage.

Thomas Jefferson is the only District 202 elementary school to stage a full musical.
